Strong Password Generator
Create a random, uncrackable password in one click. Generated in your browser with a cryptographically secure random number generator — nothing is sent anywhere.
What makes a password strong?
Strength comes from length and randomness, not from clever substitutions. A truly random 20-character password drawn from letters, numbers and symbols has more than 120 bits of entropy — far beyond what any attacker can brute-force. Patterns people find memorable (Summer2026!, P@ssw0rd) are exactly what cracking tools try first.
How this generator works
- It uses your browser’s
crypto.getRandomValues, a cryptographically secure source, with rejection sampling so every character is equally likely. - It guarantees at least one character from each set you select, then shuffles the result.
- Everything runs locally on this page. The password is never sent to Lockvero or anyone else.
How long should my password be?
Use at least 16 characters for important accounts and 20 or more for email and banking. If a site limits length or symbols, make the password as long as it allows.
Don’t reuse it — store it
A strong password only protects you if it is unique. When one site is breached, attackers try the same email and password everywhere else (“credential stuffing”). A password manager remembers a different password for every site so you don’t have to.
